We have also made an investment, in the latest computer technology to assist you in making the right choice. With this new technology we can now generate pictures of different styles onto your home, therefore giving you the chance to see which will look and serve you best. We know how important but also difficult choosing a conservatory can be, that is why we aim to give you the best advice possible.
Choosing the correct conservatory style can often be dictated by the style of your property. Some conservatories obviously lend themselves to particular property styles such as Victorian, Edwardian and Traditional (also known as lean-to). These styles can complement original Victorian and Edwardian architecture, or more modern architecture completed in this style.
However, choosing a style goes beyond this. We need to look at your property in terms of size, the pitch of your eaves, locations of ground and first floor windows, access and overall appearance, it is from surveying these that our surveyor will be able to tell you the different styles that would suit and ultimately fit your home.
Start by thinking what you want to use the space for. Make sure you get the maximum space you need, don’t worry about the technical side, that’s our job. As a general rule that extra few meters doesn’t cost much more, so it’s never worth skimping on size. Most conservatories are made up of four main styles, Lean To, Victorian, Edwardian and Gable End also known as a Georgian. These styles can be adjusted and combined to make all sorts of wonderful shapes. For example they can all be hipped at the back to overcome height restrictions or to adjoin a bungalow
Our conservatories have been designed to withstand extreme weather. They have been independently tested to withstand winds of 160mph and snow loading equivalent to 9 feet. To put it simply, for you peace of mind our conservatories are built to last. All conservatories are available woodgrain or white inside and woodgrain outside. Building regulations are very strict nowadays, particularly on listed buildings to counter this we have gone to great lengths. Often windows and conservatories have to be a certain colour to match in the local architecture. So we now have the ability to make all windows, doors and conservatories blue, black, red or green
Lean-To

A Leant -To is normally the most cost efficient option which makes it ideal if you’re working to a tight budget. It’s a functional, modern design and the simplicity creates maximum usable space and offers a solution for porches and bungalows, as well as homes wanting an extension. The Lean-To is often combined with other styles such as the Victorian, Gable-End conservatories to create more elaborate designs; for example the P and T shape designs
Victorian

Victorian conservatories are usually made with three or five facets at the front, giving the conservatory that rounded affect. The facets don’t necessarily have to be the same size.
The downside with the Victorian is that you lose valuable space. This can be used to your advantage, especially where next door neighbours boundary impinges on your garden, or where you need to maintain a walkthrough.
Edwardian
The Edwardian style features square corners, to give you maximum usable space. The generous roof pitch allows plenty of air movement. It offers a stylish and practical alternative to the Victorian. For these reasons it makes the Edwardian the most popular choice.
Gable-End
A Gable-End Conservatory has square corners, which maximizes the usable floor space, very similar to an Edwardian. The main difference is the roof, this design features an apex roof, with a distinctive flat Gable-End. We can design you Gable-End to suit your unique requirements, a popular choice is the Georgian bar sunburst effect on the gable end.
